Sclerotherapy

Laser Therapy

Ohmic Thermolysis

Ohmic thermolysis is performed regularly in our Cedar Park vein clinic.  This technology uses targeted heat energy to remove skin spider veins or telangiectasias of the face and nose.  It can also be uses on other parts of the body as well.

Plastic surgery for veins has largely been replaced by less invasive methods.  But phlebectomy microsurgery is still required in some cases of more advanced varicose vein disease.

Compression Stockings

Medical compression stockings are sold at our Cedar Park vein clinic.  They are necessary to improve treatment results of leg vein treatments.  It is recommended that they are worn for 1 – 2 weeks after most vein therapies.  Compression stockings can also be very useful in minimizing the risk of developing new diseased veins.  They are also useful in decreasing vein symptoms in the legs, such as pain, swelling, and leg fatigue.  They can be knee-high, thigh-high, or pantyhose style.

Vein Supplements

Certain vein supplement may be recommended in conjunction with your vein intervention.  Vein supplements can often minimize symptoms of pain, swelling, or bruising.  Our vein specialists will make recommendations on whether you benefit from the use of a vein supplement.
