It is recommended that they are worn for 1 – 2 weeks after most vein therapies. Compression stockings can also be very useful in minimizing the risk of developing new diseased veins. They are also useful in decreasing vein symptoms in the legs, such as pain, swelling, and leg fatigue. They can be knee-high, thigh-high, or pantyhose style.
Vein Supplements
Certain vein supplement may be recommended in conjunction with your vein intervention. Vein supplements can often minimize symptoms of pain, swelling, or bruising. Our vein specialists will make recommendations on whether you benefit from the use of a vein supplement.
